Welcome to Design Finds — I’m Allison Rachlis, an interior designer with a lifelong passion for creating beautiful, meaningful spaces that feel personal, timeless, and effortlessly livable.

I’ve always loved helping clients define their own style and bring their design dreams to life. After earning my B.S. in Interior Design from Syracuse University, I began my career at a high-end residential design firm on Madison Avenue in New York City, where I developed a strong foundation in luxury interiors and thoughtful, detail-driven design.

Over the years, I’ve had the opportunity to work with incredible brands including Ethan Allen, Restoration Hardware, and The Metropolitan Museum of Art, where I specialized in Store Design and Visual Merchandising. My background in both residential interiors and large-scale visual environments has shaped my design approach — blending sophistication, warmth, functionality, and thoughtful detail to create spaces that feel elevated but never overdesigned.

I believe great design should not only look beautiful, but also enhance the way you live every day. Whether I’m working on a full-home renovation, refreshing a single room, or styling the finishing details, I approach every project with creativity, collaboration, and a deeply personal touch. My goal is always to create spaces that feel authentic to the people who live in them.
