Welcome to Design Finds — I’m Allison Rachlis, an interior designer with a lifelong passion for creating beautiful, meaningful spaces that feel personal, timeless, and effortlessly livable.

I earned my degree in Interior Design from Syracuse University and began my career working in high-end residential design in New York City. From there, my experience expanded into retail design and visual merchandising, with roles at Ethan Allen, Restoration Hardware, and The Metropolitan Museum of Art, where I worked on everything from store design and floor plans to custom fixtures, seasonal installations, and visual displays.

After years of designing for established brands, I returned to what I love most—working directly with clients to transform their homes. I founded Design Finds to offer thoughtful, personalized interior design that feels beautiful, functional, and attainable.

I believe great design should not only look beautiful, but also enhance the way you live every day. Whether I’m working on a full-home renovation, refreshing a single room, or styling the finishing details, I approach every project with creativity, collaboration, and a deeply personal touch. My goal is always to create spaces that feel authentic to the people who live in them.
